According to the details, a meeting was held regarding the ongoing development schemes in Ghotki district under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Agha Sher Zaman. In which the Provincial Highway Engineers including the Department of Public Health, Education Works, Roads, Building, Works and Services participated. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the work of the ongoing development schemes across the district should be completed as soon as possible, in this regard, there will be no compromise on the quality of work, after the review of the schemes and the certificate, the bills of the contractors will be passed. While non-standard and poor work will not get the bill, so the concerned engineers should ensure the quality of work. He said that the schemes for which tender, work order and NIT etc. have been done a year ago, but if the contractors have not started the work, then the work order should be canceled by giving notice to such contractors and in this regard all the engineers should report on their respective schemes. Provided, that “Jagarri” report will not be accepted. He instructed the Executive Engineer Public Health to make the RO plant active and provide a report with pictures so that the situation can be reviewed. During the meeting he directed all the engineers to go out in the field and review their schemes, focus on their work which is their primary duty.
