Mir Sarfraz Bugti forms committee to resolve water distribution issues between Sindh and Balochistan

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has formed a committee for resolving the water issues between Sindh and Balochistan provinces.
The Committee would comprise the administrative secretaries of Irrigation of Sindh and Balochistan besides the members of IRSA.
The Chief Minister was presiding over an inter-provincial meeting of Sindh and Balochistan on the issues of water distribution between the two provinces, here at the Chief Minister’s secretariat on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by the Provincial Minister for Irrigation Balochistan, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Minister for Irrigation, Sindh, Jam Khan Shoro, members of the provincial cabinet, members of the Balochistan assembly and secretaries of Irrigation of both the provinces.
The IRSA accord and stance of both of the provinces were presented in the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that the committee formed by the Chief Minister would prepare viable proposals after consultation with the Provincial Ministers for Irrigation of Sindh and Balochistan on its final review report.
