Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti exhorts all authorities to increase their own resources instead of depending on government; orders action against those involved in theft of agricultural water

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti ha directed to establish new cities instead of developing housing schemes in the interior Quetta city.
He also issued standing directives to retrieve the land of Quetta Development Authority (QDA) from the illegal occupants. In this regard, operation should be initiated without any delay against the mafia involved in the occupation of government land.
The Chief Minister issued these directives to the Director General QDA while chairing meeting on the matters about Quetta Development Package and irrigation issues, here at the CM’s secretariat on Tuesday.
The Advisor to Chief Minister, Dr. Rubaba Buledi, Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan and other concerned high ups were present in the meeting.
The meeting decided to re-organize the QDA. In this regard, it was directed to prepare feasibility report.
The Chief Minister exhorted all the authorities to increase their own resources instead of depending on the government.
He expressed concern over that the world is heading towards the private economics zone while we are not able to make the public zone functional.
He on the occasion directed to DG QDA to start immediate operation against those occupying its land without any delay. He also directed to expedite action against the illegal occupants without wasting time in the summaries.
In addition to this, the Chief Minister directed to complete all the supplementary projects of Quetta Development Package timely and maintaining high standard work.
Regarding irrigation, the Chief Minister directed to ensure judicious distribution of water from Pat Feeder and other canals.
He also directed to prepare comprehensive feasibility report for restructuring of the Pat Feeder canal. Besides, he ordered to take action against those involved in the theft of agricultural water.
