Mir Ali Mardan Domki calls for reaching to involved elements by putting investigations on modern lines

QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has directed the concerned authorities to take the elements involved in the suicide blast in Mastung to task.
He also directed to make the security measures more effective for the protection of life and property of the masses.
The caretaker Chief Minister was speaking to the caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Captain (Retd) Mir Zubair Jamali, Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh and Deputy Inspector General Counter Terrorism Department, who called on him here on Saturday.
During the course of meeting, the Inspector General of Police briefed the Chief Minister about the progress of the investigations in Mastung blast case.
The caretaker Chief Minister directed the IGP and CTD to keep a vigil on all aspects during investigations of the Mastung tragic incident.
Earlier, the Chief Minister presided over a high level meeting on law and order situation following the Mastung suicide blast on Friday.
The IGP Abdul Khaliq Sheikh briefed the meting about the Mastung blast and overall law and order situation.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that initial evidences have been come about the Mastung explosion.
He said that the preliminary investigations are heading towards the right direction.
He, however, directed the authorities to reach to the elements involved in it by putting the investigations on modern lines.
He stressed that all elements involved in the heinous crime to task mobilizing all available resources.
He on the occasion announced that the government would pay financial compensation to the heirs of those martyred in the Mastung explosion. Moreover, the expenditures of treatment of the injured would also be bear by the government, he maintained.
The IGP on the occasion informed that Mastung’s explosion was suicidal, in which 6 to 8 kilograms explosive material was used.
