Minister Health takes strict notice of death of pregnant female due to non availability of ambulance

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar has taken strict notice of the incident of death of a pregnant woman due to non availability of ambulance in Gazag area of Kalat.
The Provincial Minister for Health sought report of the incident of passing away of a pregnant woman while she was on the way to Kalat from Gazag area due to non availability of ambulance back in Gazag the other day.
Meanwhile, the DSM of PPHI, Mujeeb Baloch suspended the driver of BHU Gazag, Muhammad Yousaf on committing negligence and carelessness, on directives of the Deputy Commissioner Ft. Lieutenant (Retd) Bilal Shabbir.
The Minister Health said that the concerned Deputy Commissioner, DHO and other concerned officials have been issued directives for ensuring availability of medicines and provision of other facilities in the remote areas.
He said that the negligence of staff would not be tolerated in the medical sector.
The Minister Health said that the concerned DHO has been directed to conduct inquiry Into the incident through Deputy Commissioner Kalat.
He warned that no one would be allowed to play with precious lives of people.
