Minister for Finance announces to build a big modern hospital in Kharan, assures medical facilities in divisional, other hospitals

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Finance, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani has announced to construct a big modern hospital in Kharan besides ensuring complete medical facilities in the divisional hospital of Kharan as well as all basic health units and rural health centers of the district.
The Minister Finance was on surprise visit to the divisional headquarter hospital Kharan on Saturday.
He expressed dismay over absence of the doctors and medical staff and shortage of the medicines in the hospital.
He reviewed the medical facilities by visiting the dialysis unit, laboratory, medicine store and wards.
Also present on the occasion were the Deputy Commissioner Kharan, Munir Ahmed Soomro, District Health Officer, Dr Sher Ahmed Baloch, Mir Abdul Latif Notezai.
During the visit, the Medical Superintendent of Divisional Hospital, Dr Mehboob Baloch briefed the Provincial Minister about shortage of the doctors, surgeons, staff and the medicines.
The Minister inquired about the health of patients admitted in the hospital and extended financial assistance to them in form of cash.
