Minister Education takes notice of incident of fire erupted in Science College, seeks report

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Education, Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani has taken serious notice of the incident of fire erupted in the Government Science College Quetta.
Expressing deep concern over the incident of fire in the Science College, the Minister Education has taken report of the incident from the concerned authorities.
Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan has directed to the Secretary Colleges and Higher Education and the Principal of Government Science College to conduct inquiry of the untoward incident and submit the details in this regard immediately.
She also directed to take legal action against the responsible if there’s an element of any subversive act.
The Minister also directed to lodge FIR of the incident.
Besides, Ms. Durrani also directed to make sufficient security arrangements in the educational institutions and stop entry of the unauthorized persons in the hostels. It May be mentioned here that fire was erupted in the Science College in wee hours of Sunday.
As a result of the fire, the office of Principal as well as the lecture rooms and corridor of the college were burnt. The furniture and other valuables were also burnt following the fire in the College. The fire brigades overcame the fire, which was erupted due to short circuit, as informed by the Chief Fire Officer Quetta.
