Minister Assures Solution to Hunza’s Water Woes, Vows to Prioritize Regional Development

Provincial Minister for Development and Women’s Empowerment, Dilshad Bano, has assured delegations from Hunza, Mayun, and Khanabad that the government will take all possible measures to resolve the regional issues, particularly the water supply problem in Hunza.

During a meeting with the delegations, Minister Bano acknowledged the difficulties faced by the residents due to the water shortage and vowed to prioritize the construction of the Hunza water channel. She stated that the provincial government is committed to regional development, despite limited resources, and will expedite development work in the area.

The minister also directed relevant departments to take immediate action to resolve the electricity and water supply issues in Hunza, ensuring that these problems are addressed during the current government’s term.

This assurance comes as a relief to the residents of Hunza, who have been facing water scarcity issues for an extended period. The government’s commitment to regional development is expected to bring significant improvements to the lives of the people in the area.
