Minister Ahsan Iqbal Urges Pakistan to Become a Global Brand

Minister of Planning Ahsan Iqbal addressed the 28th Asia International Trade Fair at Expo Center Lahore, emphasizing the need for Pakistan to become a recognizable brand globally. He stressed the importance of focusing on value-added products to enhance the country’s exports.

Ahsan Iqbal highlighted that Pakistan’s setbacks are due to political instability and lack of policy continuity. He mentioned that plans were made but not implemented, resulting in missed opportunities for growth.

 

The Minister emphasized that if the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) had been pursued, Pakistan’s fate would have been different. He noted that China has decided to restart CPEC Phase 2, despite previous attempts to dismantle it.

 

Ahsan Iqbal stressed that Pakistan’s progress is h6 essential for national security and urged the need for political stability to achieve this goal.
