Mines & Minerals department generates Record revenue

Lahore : Provincial Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad in a statement said that the Department of Mines and Minerals under his leadership generated record revenue and formulated a policy for the next three years to increase the national treasury. He said that instead of its target of 12 billion in the year 2023, the department achieved 14.87 billion while a revenue plan of 150 billion was created for the next three years. The provincial minister said that the Feasibility Study measures of Koh Sulaiman Range, DG Khan have been completed and in the future, billions of rupees revenue can be generated. Along with this, 27 new areas of salt range have been identified while several new areas of limestone have also been identified. The Provincial Minister said that for the first time, the establishment of District Mines and Minerals Committees was ensured across the province, while the adoption of zero tolerance policy against corruption has yielded positive results.
