Provincial Advisor for Labor and Manpower, Sardar Baba Ghulam Rasool Khan Imrani, said that the human rights violations in occupied Kashmir for decades are a matter of concern for human rights organizations. He stated that without resolving the Kashmir issue, there can be no improvement in Pakistan-India relations and no sustainable peace in the region.
“Today, August 5, is being observed as Kashmir Exploitation Day across the country. Five years ago, on this day, the Modi government abolished Kashmir’s special status, writing a new chapter of oppression. Human rights violations have been ongoing in occupied Kashmir for decades, which is a matter of concern for human rights organizations. I demand that global human rights organizations take notice of the atrocities against the Kashmiri people. The global community must resolve the Kashmir issue to improve Pakistan-India relations and establish sustainable peace in the region.”
