Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) & Memorandum of Association (MoA) for Academic Collaboration between Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh Pakistan.

*In a landmark move to promote international flight cooperation, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) & (MoA) was signed between Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Shaheed Benazirabad. The ceremony marked a new chapter of collaboration in academic and research fields between the two renowned institutions. USM Malaysia is ranked as No 2 University in Malaysia and in top 150 universities (i.e 146 in the world as per QS rankings.)*
The MoU & MoA was inked by *Engineer Professor Dr Madad Ali Shah*, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, Pakistan, and Professor Dato’ Gs Dr Narimah Samat, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic & International Universiti Sains Malaysia. The event held at Meeting Room, Chancellory Building Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang Malaysia.
This MoU & MoA aims to promote joint research initiatives, student and faculty exchanges, and the development of academic programs. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing a mutually beneficial relationship that will enrich the educational experiences of students and faculty at both universities. Most important thing, to develop a centre of excellence in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and cyber security.
Speaking on the occasion, Engineer Professor Dr Madad Ali Shah Vice Chancellor SBBU, SBA highlighted the importance of international partnerships in modern higher education. He stated, “This MoU opens doors for our Students, Faculty and Scholars to gain global exposure and benefit from shared knowledge and research. We are committed to working closely with Universiti Sains Malaysia to achieve academic excellence and drive innovation in various fields.”
Engineer Professor Dr Madad Ali Shah further said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh Pakistan, is an emerging public sector university in the center of Rural Sindh Province in Pakistan, The university aims at promoting quality academic and professional programmers covering all dimensions of education.
Professor Dato’ Gs Dr Narimah Samat, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic & International Universiti Sains Malaysia echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the partnership would enrich the educational experiences of both institutions. we believe in building bridges through academic collaboration. This partnership with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh Pakistan will not only expand research opportunities but also provide our students with a chance to experience diverse cultures and academic environments, preparing them for the global challenges of tomorrow.”

The collaboration is expected to pave the way for academic excellence, innovative research, and global outreach, benefiting students, faculty, and the broader academic community. Both universities are poised to work together to cultivate new opportunities and contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge and education.
