Mehmood Khan Achakzai describes recent elections as most rigged ones; promises to go to any extreme to resolve issues of people

QUETTA: The Chairman Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Mehmood Khan Achakzai has stated that the protest dharna (sit-in) is being staged for last four months in Chaman, but their “genuine” demands are not being met.
He asserted that not accepting the “genuine” demands of Chaman dharna participants is not tolerable at all.
The Chairman PkMAP was addressing the participants of dharna in Chaman on Wednesday.
Addressing the dharna, he said that a large number of people have been staging protest against enforcement of passport policy on the Pak-Afghan border.
He asserted that if the people decided to put out the fence at the border, his hands would be the first to do so.
He said that he is representative of his nation, and his obligation to resolve the issues being faced by it.
He said that he would go to any extreme to resolve the issues facing his people at large.
He on the occasion asserted that the decision of enforcement of the one document regime, passport at the Chaman, Durand line should be withdrawn immediately.
He said that the people are facing immense financial problems due to the policies of government, and it has become very hard to make their both ends meet.
He demanded of the rulers to withdraw the decision of passport for across the border movement and provide livelihood to the thousands of people.
He said that he would accept whatever decision to be made by the people of Chaman regarding dharna.
The Chairman PkMAP also said that Pakistan can’t afford second Bengal. He said that while our people are deprived of livelihood and buying bread for them and their families.
Referring the recent general elections, Mehmood Khan Achakzai alleged that the recent elections were the most rigged ones, which are not acceptable to us.
He charged that the state institutions made the people as representatives of the parliament, which would spoil the country.
