QUETTA: The process of scrutiny of the nomination papers of the candidates is continued for the provincial and national assemblies on second consecutive day, Tuesday.
According to the sources of Provincial Election Commissioner office, the scrutiny of papers of some 240 candidates has been completed during last two days.
On second day, the nomination papers of leader of Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party, Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Agha were found corrected. They had filed nomination papers for NA-262, Quetta-I.
Similarly, the nomination papers of PKMAP chairman, Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani were also found corrected for NA-263, Quetta-II.
Moreover, the papers of former Provincial Minister and leader of Awami National Party, Zamarak Achakzai and Humayun Aziz Kurd were also declared correct for PB-41 and PB-45 provincial assembly seats respectively.
