Measles disease spread in Larkana, 15 children admitted in hospital

LARKANA :since last some days, Measles disease outbreak began to spread rapidly in Larkana district and its surroundings, more than 10 children suffering from measles disease ( called khusra disease) were shifted to Sheikh Zayed Children’s Hospital on the same day, including 9-month-old Anam, Usman, Kulsoom, 9-month-old Mudassar Khokhar, 10-month-old baby Amina, Purab Anil Kumar, Samia, Ruqia, Reema and others belonging to Larkana city, including Nodero, Qamber, Naseerabad, Ratodero, Garilo, Rashid Vigan and other small and big towns and villages are included. was transferred to Sheikh Zayed Children’s Hospital where all the affected children were given medical assistance, on this occasion Dr. Dili Jan Baloch, Consultant Pediatrician of Sheikh Zayed Children’s Hospital said that 8 to 10 children are admitted to the hospital on a daily basis. Due to measles, 4 to 5 children are transferred to Sheikh Zayed Children’s Hospital. are available and children are being treated.
