Lahore, : Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the challenges faced by citizens due to goods being kept in front of shops and has instructed the administration to remove these goods within one month. She directed the authorities to alleviate traffic congestion and clear obstacles from roads and markets, emphasizing that shopkeepers should keep their goods within their shop limits.
Citizens have complained to the chief minister about the inconvenience caused by shopkeepers placing goods outside, leading to transportation difficulties and frequent accidents due to encroachment. Maryam Nawaz Sharif instructed authorities to ensure that stalls and carts are placed only in designated areas, minimizing inconvenience to both shopkeepers and citizens.
She further directed concerned authorities to address citizen complaints within one month to ensure smooth traffic flow and citizen convenience.
