QUETTA: Major reshuffling has been made in the Health Department, Balochistan as many as 18 doctors were transferred to Loralai from Quetta.
According to the official notifications issued here by the Provincial Health Department, the transfers of doctors including three Chief Medical Officers and four senior Medical Officers have been made from Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital and Bolan Medical Complex Hospital Quetta to Loralai.
Three senior Medical Officers and a Chief Medical Officer was transferred to District Headquarter Hospital Loralai from Quetta.
Similarly, the services of two Chief Medical Officers and a senior Medical Officer were handed over to DHQ Hospital Loralai.
Besides, 11 lady doctors have also been transferred to Loralai, who otherwise were posted in different hospitals of Quetta.
They are included seven senior Lady Medical Officers and four Lady Medical Officers, the notification mentioned.
Among them, six lady doctors have been directed to report in the Teaching Hospital Loralai while services of five lady doctors have been handed over to the District Health Officer Loralai.
Meanwhile, according to another notification, medical officer of DHQ Duki, Dr. Fareed has been suspended with approval of the competent authority.
It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti had expressed displeasure over performance of the hospitals operating in Loralai including the Teaching Hospital.
During his recent visit to Loralai, the Chief Minister had directed to take stern action against those found negligence in their duties.
