_Karachi:19 Aug. Water Supply Suspended Due to Technical Fault_
: A major power breakdown has caused the Dhabiji Pumping Station grid station to shut down completely, suspending water supply to the city temporarily. According to the Water Corporation spokesperson, the power breakdown occurred at 8:10 pm, causing all pumping operations to come to a halt. Earlier, a similar power breakdown had occurred at 11:30 am, resulting in the rupture of two 72-inch water lines due to backpressure. The Water Corporation has appealed to citizens to use water cautiously until the issue is resolved.
