Secretary of Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperative in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Muhammad Israr, recently conducted an inspection at the Animal Husbandry In-Service Training Institute (AHITI) Peshawar. Accompanied by Principal AHITI Mian Ahadullah and other relevant officers, the visit included an examination of various departments and facilities.
During the inspection, Secretary Israr explored training facility classrooms, male and female hostels, and assessed the ongoing work in seminar rooms and other training areas. He received detailed briefings on technical training in animal husbandry, consultancy services, and the progress of courses conducted in the institute.
Secretary Israr expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts of UNIDO and JICA in managing the Meat Training Facility Center. He thanked the organizations for their investment in the project, emphasizing its significance in training butchers, particularly in cattle slaughtering. Dr. Israr directed the Principal of AHITI to submit a comprehensive report outlining modern needs and facilities to enhance the institute, aiming to optimize its services for the benefit of cattle ranchers.
