Licenses of dealers involved in smuggling of fertilizer in district Ghotki will be cancelled, order to set up check post at Ubauro toll plaza, officers of agriculture department should play an active role, there will be no smuggling of fertilizer. According to the details, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Agha Sher Zaman regarding shortage of fertilizer and black marketing in which assistant commissioners, officers of agriculture department, representatives of fertilizer companies and farmers and dealers participated. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the quota of fertilizer received by Ghotki district should not be transferred out in any case. If any dealer tries to transfer urea to other districts, his license will be revoked. The Additional Director of Agriculture strictly instructed to set up a check post at Ubauro Toll Plaza, not to allow any vehicle to pass without seeing the invoice and bill, to oblige all dealers to sell fertilizers under open counter. Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this. He asked the representatives of the fertilizer companies to increase the quota during December and January so that the problems of the farmers can be reduced.
