Leaves of Finance Dept. cancelled owing to preparations of new FY budget

QUETTA: The leaves of all employees serving in the Finance Department Balochistan have been cancelled due to the preparations of the budget for new Financial Year 2024-2025.
According to an official notification issued here by the department, the employees have been directed to continue work on overtime on the otherwise closed weekly holidays I.e., Saturday and Sunday.
The leaves of employees of Finance Department have been cancelled from May 18 to June 30, 2024.
The provincial budget for the new financial year is likely to be presented in third week of next month.
