According to details, the hostages, including Muhammad Omar Qureshi, Muhammad Asif Qureshi, Badshah Qureshi, and Mir Hassan Jagirani, were being transported by the dacoits from one location to another in the Rustom area when the police intervened. An exchange of fire took place between the police and the dacoits, resulting in the safe recovery of the hostages. The dacoits, however, managed to escape.
DIG Larkana Nasser Aftab has commended the Shikarpur Police for their bravery and has announced cash rewards and accolades for the team involved in the operation.
