Karachi: The Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) and the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) have entered into a strategic partnership, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Lahore. The MOU was signed by Mr. Kashif Anwar, President of LCCI, and Mr. Taufique Ali Abbasi, Director General of PSQCA.
This landmark agreement signifies a major step forward in promoting quality standards, enhancing industry competitiveness, and fostering economic growth throughout Pakistan. The collaboration between PSQCA and LCCI aims to streamline processes and remove barriers for industrialists, offering them a single-window facility to effectively address various challenges.
According to PSQCA media spokesperson Mujeeb ur Rehman Solangi, under this partnership, LCCI will allocate space to support PSQCA’s awareness initiatives, enabling broader outreach and education on quality standards within the industrial sector. This mutual cooperation is expected to play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of best practices, contributing to the sustained economic development of the country.
