The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority continues its crackdown against adulteration across the province, seizing 2,300 kilograms of substandard tea leaves during a major operation in Peshawar. The factory, located on Phando Road, was sealed, and machinery was taken into government custody.
According to the Food Authority spokesperson, the raid was carried out by the Town-1 Food Safety team under the supervision of Director Operations Akhtar Nawaz.
