Peshawar, Nov 22, : The Awami National Party (ANP) has strongly condemned the recent surge in terrorist attacks and lawlessness in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in the Khyber district.¹
In a statement, ANP provincial president Mian Iftikhar Hussain criticized the provincial and federal governments for their alleged lack of seriousness in establishing peace and eliminating terrorism. He questioned the failure of the FC, police, and army to protect the convoy of innocent passengers in Khyber.
Hussain demanded a thorough investigation into the incident, which he claimed was an attempt to spark sectarian violence. He urged the authorities to address the concerns and doubts of the public.
The ANP leader lamented that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been left at the mercy of terrorists, with no one providing protection to the people.
