Peshawar: Oct. 10 Governor Faisal Karim Kundi emphasized peace in the province as the top priority during his address at the Grand Jirga held at the Chief Minister’s House.
“Peace in the province is our utmost priority, and today’s Jirga has only one agenda,” Kundi stated.
He expressed gratitude to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for attending and thanked the Chief Minister and Provincial Assembly members for organizing the event.
Kundi stressed that despite political differences, peace and public welfare remain the focus. He advocated for dialogue as the solution to all issues, citing global consensus on negotiations to resolve the Afghan conflict.
Referencing the recent tragic incident in Khyber, Kundi urged swift action toward finding a solution through dialogue, emphasizing the need to engage those who recognize Pakistan’s constitution and laws.
