Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has recommended the appointment of former Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah

Peshawar – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Ameen Gandapur has recommended the appointment of former Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah as Chief Secretary KP through a letter to the federal government. The Valley Housing Society Scheme is facing serious allegations of corruption. In the said inquiry, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s housing society, New Peshawar Valley, was declared fake. The top officials of journalistic organizations also earned crores of rupees.This project was declared as the biggest fraud in the history of the provincial capital Peshawar.The biggest fraud in history came to light when Shahab Ali Shah was appointed as Peshawar Commissioner. He saw a fake account in Mauza Garhi Faizullah. He made his front man, Ali Asghar, who was appointed Deputy Commissioner in his native district Bannu, Deputy Commissioner Peshawar for the purpose of falsifying the said account and naming hundreds of acres of land in the name of his benamidars. Ali Asghar began to acquire land in the names of Shahab Ali Shah’s Benamidars in Mauza Garhi Faizullah. At the same time, private individuals started acquiring land. When enough land was acquired, Shahab Ali Shah approved a scheme named New Peshawar Valley. People were told that half of the land they buy will be given back to them for development while the other half will be given to PDA. Similarly, people bought properties worth billions of rupees. Shahab Ali Shah, Ali Asghar, and later Captain Khalid also earned crores of rupees in this scheme. Along with putting their front men as collectors and tehsildars, bribes up to fifty thousand rupees were collected on each intimation letter. When the people of Peshawar became angry and fed up with Ali Asghar’s corruption, he appointed the most incompetent officer who was included in the Pakistan Administrative Service through the recommendation of the army and was appointed Deputy Commissioner Peshawar.He also continued the same work with Ali Asghar. To hand over the development of this city to PDA, Shahab Ali Shah appointed Ali Asghar as DG PDA, but the PDA employees removed him from there on the grounds that he was a junior officer. Khalid also continued to work on this fraud as per the terms of appointment.The work on this scheme continued rapidly, and in order to increase the prices of his lands, Shahab Ali Shah announced to the provincial government that the provincial assembly would also be shifted there and the Civil Secretariat would also be shifted to Peshawar Valley. In this project, the top officials of the journalistic organizations of Peshawar also made attachments worth crores of rupees. Meanwhile, the provincial and federal governments of PTI ended, and Shahab Ali Shah and his family were transferred from here. PDM appointed Shah Fahad as Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, and he investigated the fraud of Shahab Ali Shah, Ali Asghar, and Khalid. In the light of this inquiry, the project was declared fake, and allotments of New Peshawar Valley City were canceled through a newspaper advertisement.
