Kashmore Police Foil Kidnapping Attempt, Rescue Punjab Resident

Kashmore, November 25, 2024: In a swift and successful operation, the Kashmore Police rescued a resident of Layyah, Punjab, from being kidnapped. The police received technical intelligence that a man was being lured to Kaccha under the pretext of a wedding, with the intention of kidnapping him.

The police promptly responded by setting up a checkpoint in the limits of B-Section Kandhkot Police Station, where they managed to rescue Muhammad Tariq, son of Waris Ali Araien, a resident of Layyah, Punjab.

The rescued individual was safely handed over to his heirs by the Kashmore Police. The police have appealed to the public to be cautious of fake calls and messages, and to immediately report any suspicious activities.¹
