JUI is biggest hurdle in way of constitutional amendments, says Maulana Abdul Wasey

QUETTA: The newly elected Provincial Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Maulana Abdul Wasey has stated that JUI is the biggest hurdle in the way of constitutional amendments. He said that the narrative of JUI and stance of Maulana Fazalur Rehman would be spread all over the province. He said that the JUI workers had taken part in the million Azadi March. He charged that JUI had registered victory on atleast 21 seats in Balochistan, but ours 11 seats were snatched in the general elections.
Maulana Abdul Wasey was speaking to a private TV channel on Thursday.
The JUI provincial Ameer said that the Form-47 walas were declared successful in the province, but still we are not disappointed.
We would continue our struggle and become the major parliamentary party in future, he added.
He also said that we serve the people when we are in the government. And when we are out of the government then we stand for protection of their rights, just because it is included in our priority, he maintained.
