A significant breakthrough has been achieved after the meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The joint committee of Muslim League-N and Pakistan People’s Party will meet on August 25 at 2 pm at the Governor House.
The negotiating committee will include Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Maryam Aurangzeb, and Malik Ahmed Khan from the PML-N side, while Raja Pervez Ashraf, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Hasan Murtaza, and Ali Haider Gillani will represent the PPP.
According to Ali Haider Gillani, the parliamentary leader of PPP in Punjab, the meeting will review the implementation of power-sharing promises and address the concerns of the PPP. The meeting will also set a timeframe for the implementation of the remaining points of the agreement.
