QUETTA: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s Jamal Shah Kakar as well as the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani and independent candidate Aadil Khan Bazai won three seats of National Assembly from Quetta.
According to the results shared by the respective returning officers of all the three constituencies of National Assembly, Jamal Shah Kakar, Jamal Khan Raisani and Adil Bazai emerged victorious on the NA-262, Quetta-I, NA-263, Quetta-II and NA-264, Quetta-III respectively.
The independent candidate, Adil Bazai secured 20,273 votes while his opponent Malik Sikandar Khan of JUI-F got 12,873 votes.
Similarly, Jamal Shah Kakar of PM-N grabbed 15,680 votes while his opponent independent candidate Salar Kakar got 14,350 votes.
The PPP’s candidate Jamal Raisani got 10m678 votes to win the NA-264 seat while his opponent BNP’s Sardar Akhtar Mengal could secure 9929 votes.
It may be mentioned here that all three candidates have won the NA seats for the first time.
Jamal Shah Kakar has served as the Speaker Balochistan Assembly. However, it would be for the first time that Jamal Raisani and Adil Bazai would become part of the parliament.
