Jacobabad, October 30, : Abida Andar, a polio worker who was harassed during a vaccination campaign, has fled Jacobabad with her family due to security concerns.
According to sources, Andar was subjected to harassment and intimidation after she reported the incident. Despite assurances from local authorities, she felt compelled to leave the city due to fear for her and her family’s safety.
In a letter to SSP Andar stated that she and her family face threats and cannot return to their home. She requested police protection and stated that she would contact authorities if needed.
