ISLAMABAD POLICE NAB THREE MEMBERS OF IMPERSONATION GANG

Islamabad, June 12, 2024: The Industrial Area police station has arrested a three-member gang involved in impersonating government officials and robbing citizens. The accused, identified as Sardar Ali Khan, Mani Gul, and Shahzada Ismail, were found to be in possession of a vehicle and weapons used in the crimes.

According to police sources, Mani Gul is also wanted in a murder case in Tarnol. The gang has a previous record of involvement in multiple crimes.

The police have recovered evidence and will present it in court to ensure the accused receive appropriate punishment. DIG Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, has assured citizens that those who rob them of their valuables will not escape the law.

“This arrest is a significant breakthrough in our efforts to combat crime in the city,” said DIG Raza. “We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of our citizens.”
