Islamabad, Oct 12 – Islamabad Police have intensified their crackdown on kite sellers and flyers, arresting Nasir Mehmood for violating the district administration’s ban.
According to a police spokesperson, the Karachi Company police team seized kites and string rolls from Mehmood’s possession. Cases have been registered against him.
DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza directed officers to prioritize citizen safety and property protection, urging parents to prevent their children from engaging in kite flying.
The crackdown aims to curb the hazardous practice, which poses risks to human life and property. The police will continue to monitor and take action against violators.
