Islamabad police chief facilitates direct public access in online `Khuli Katcheri

ISLAMABAD,  :Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, conducted an online “Khuli Katcheri”, providing residents with direct access to high-ranking police officials.
During the online session held on the other day, ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan personally addressed public inquiries via phone calls between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. He listened to callers’ concerns and instructed relevant officers to find immediate solutions.
The majority of the issues raised pertained to individual citizens and their interactions with local police stations.
Addressing the citizens, ICCPO emphasized the police force’s dedicated efforts to swiftly resolve public issues.
He underscored that such initiatives aimed to bridge the gap between the police and the community.
Citizens from various parts of the city presented their proposals and concerns to ICCPO. Many of the issues discussed were related to personal matters, ongoing investigations, the expedited handling of cases, and other community-related topics.
The Chief of Capital Police also highlighted the noticeable decrease in crime incidents within the federal capital, attributing this improvement to effective policing measures, the dedication of police personnel, and rapid responses to calls made to the Pucar-15 hotline.
Additionally, citizens were encouraged to collaborate with the Islamabad Capital Police by reporting any suspicious activities through the Pucar-15 helpline.
