Islamabad, – The Islamabad Food Authority has launched a crackdown on the milk mafia, seizing 13,000 liters of adulterated milk and imposing fines of Rs 200,000 on milk tankers and shops found guilty of milk adulteration. Four shops were sealed for adding chemicals and dry powder to milk. The authority has warned that no leniency will be shown to those involved in milk adulteration. The public has been urged to identify and report such units, and the authority’s teams are working day and night to provide safe and healthy food to the citizens.”
