The Islamabad Food Authority team, acting on the directives of Director Islamabad Food Authority, conducted a surprise inspection of milk tankers and shops in the Lhtrar Road area of Islamabad. During the operation, 25,000 liters of milk were tested, out of which 15,000 liters were found to be adulterated and were disposed of on the spot.
Three points of sale were sealed, and several fines were imposed for violating food safety regulations. Dr. Tahirah Siddique, the director of the food authority, warned that no compromise would be made on public health and urged citizens to cooperate with the authority in its efforts against the milk adulteration mafia.
