ISLAMABAD FOOD AUTHORITY CONDUCTS INSPECTIONS TO ENSURE QUALITY FOOD

Islamabad, August 16: The Islamabad Food Authority has launched a crackdown on substandard food outlets in the city. Special food safety teams are conducting inspections of sabeels, langarkhanas, and food centers to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Deputy Director of Islamabad Food Authority, Dr. Tahira Siddique, has warned food establishment owners against using banned ingredients. She emphasized the importance of covering food, using filtered water, and utilizing food-grade ingredients.

Dr. Siddique stressed that food workers must maintain personal and environmental hygiene. She warned that no compromise will be made on the quality of food served to the public. Strict action will be taken against those found preparing or selling substandard food.

The Islamabad Food Authority will continue to monitor food outlets to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
