QUETTA: The Inspector General of National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP), Salman Chaudhary has stated that the international driving licenses would be issued from the Driving Licensing Authority (DLA) Quetta office.
The test of youth of Balochistan regarding driving licensing would also be conducted according to the international standards from Quetta.
This was announced by the Inspector General of NH&MP while speaking to the media persons during his visit to the newly established building of DLA in Quetta on Thursday.
The IG NH&MP said that new building of DLA has been established in Quetta.
He said that with issuance of international driving licenses from DLA Quetta, the youngsters would also get opportunities of employments in abroad.
He said that the federal government is funding the building and other expenditures of DLA in Quetta.
The Inspector General of NH&MP was highly concerned about the road safety and termed it a big issue.
He pleaded to teach the subjects about road safety in educational institutions for prevention of the road accidents.
To a query, Chaudhary Salman said that the network of NH&MP is being expanded in Balochistan.
Earlier, he visited the new building of DLA where he was briefed about different sections besides its working.
