QUETTA: The speakers at an awareness seminar on “International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking” have underlined the need to learn lesson from the miserable life being led by the drug addicts in the society instead of hating them.
They also stressed that every individual of the society would have to play one’s effective role in prevention of the drugs and illicit trafficking.
The speakers were addressing the seminar organized by the Excise, Taxation and Anti-Narcotics, Government of Balochistan, at the Government Sandeman High School here on Monday.
The Secretary Excise and Taxation, Zafar Ali Bokhari, Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Saboor Kakar, eminent psychologist, Professor Dr. Ghulam Rasool, academician, Gulab Khan Khilji, DG Excise, Muhammad Jahangir Kakar and Principal Dr. Naseer Shah addressed the seminar.
They highlighted the ill effects of the use of narcotics and delivered lectures on the life skill education.
They advised the students to strengthen their bonds with the parents and other households. They should also have friendship with their age fellows, but not indulge in any social evils including use of drugs at all.
