Interim Provincial Govt. fully prepared to tackle any emergent situation

QUETTA: The interim provincial government is fully prepared and active to tackle any emergent situation in the province.
This was stated by the caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai in an official statement issued here on Monday.
Jan Achakzai referred to the forecast by seismic research institute of solar system geometry survey (SSGS) and remarked that the advance prediction of the earthquake couldn’t be made.
However, the natural calamities are the reality.
Our emergency services including MERS, PDMA, Pak Army, Frontier Corps, Civil administration, Levies, police, Fire Brigade and medical teams are fully prepared to cope with any emergent situation.
He said that the concerned institutions are keeping vigil on the situation round the clock.
He asked the citizens to remain calm and keep them abreast about the situation.
He also asked the people to follow the safety measures issued by the government in case of emergency.
Moreover, the Minister Information said that the project government is already taking action against the illegal constructions as violation of the building code and constitution of encroachments on nullahs and karezat pose serious threat in such a situation.
