QUETTA: Two students of Balochistan Residential College (BRC) Loralai clinched top position in the Intermediate’s annual examinations 2024 of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta.
The BRC students namely Shamraiz Khan bearing Roll No. 250062 and Sharifullah bearing Roll No. 250106 secured 1051 marks to stand first in the Intermediate (F.Sc) examinations.
Similarly, another BRC Loralai student Sajjad Hussain bearing Roll No. 250059 shared second position with the BRC Zhob’s student namely Muhammad Zahid bearing Roll No. 650802 obtaining 1050 marks.
However, third position went to the female student namely Salma Mehboob from Govt. Inter College, Basima, bearing Roll No. 584249, who got 1049 marks.
This was announced by the Controller Examinations of Balochistan BISE here on Tuesday.
According to the Controller of Examinations, in all 99,887 candidates appeared in the Intermediate examinations 2024.
Of them, 93,768 candidates were declared successful showing pass percentage of 93.9 percent.
In first year, a total of 46,490 candidates had appeared out of them 42,894 could pass the examinations. The success percentage in first year remained as 92.3 percent. While in second year, a total of 53,397 candidates had appeared out of them, 50,874 were declared pass showing pass percentage as 95.3 percent.
