The Information Commission Balochistan’s website has been launched, marking a significant milestone in promoting transparency and access to information in the province. Secretary Information Imran Khan praised the efforts of the Commission in implementing the Right to Information Act.
The website was launched during a meeting attended by IT expert Abdul Astaar Baloch, Executive Director Adil Jehangir, Director General Public Relations Muhammad Noor Khetran, and other officials.
Speaking at the meeting, Adil Jehangir said that the Commission plans to celebrate International Day for Universal Access to Information for the first time in Balochistan in collaboration with the Information Department.
Muhammad Noor Khetran emphasized the need for a user-friendly website that provides easy access to information for the public. Other officials, including Mir Bahrham Baloch, Mir Bahrham Lehri, and Rana Ahson, suggested uploading awareness material on the website to educate the public about their right to information.
The launch of the website is seen as a significant step towards promoting transparency and accountability in Balochistan.
