Dera Bugti, August 14: Like the rest of the country, Dera Bugti also celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. A flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the FC Headquarters in Sui, attended by high-ranking civil and military officials, tribal leaders, and civil society members.

Commandant Sui Rifles Colonel Usman Aslam and tribal leaders hoisted the flag, while FC and police personnel presented a salute to the national flag. Addressing the ceremony, Commandant Sui Rifles Colonel Usman Aslam said that we should thank Allah for giving us independence and the great nation of Pakistan.

He stated that today is a day of renewal of our pledge to make any sacrifice for the progress, stability, and security of our country. The Commandant emphasized that we must work together to achieve our goals and make Pakistan a prosperous and developed nation.

At FC School and College Sui, students presented national songs and tableaux, receiving applause from the audience. Commandant Sui Rifles Colonel Usman Aslam distributed prizes among the students for their outstanding performance.

The FC also organized an arms display for the students, providing them with a detailed briefing on modern weapons. Finally, students, teachers, and staff participated in a rally led by Commandant Sui Rifles Colonel Usman Aslam, waving green and white flags and chanting “Long live Pakistan!”

The celebrations were marked with great fervor and enthusiasm, and the participants renewed their pledge to serve the country and make it a great nation.
