LARKANA : Last day, an important ceremony was held at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Press Club in Larkana under the chairmanship of Press Club President Muhammad Nawaz Umrani. The program was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which the regular general secretary Sarfaraz Saleem Phulpoto presided over the ceremony. On this occasion, the newly joined senior journalist Irshad Ibrahim Shaikh was unanimously elected as the senior vice president of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Press Club Larkana and Yasir Khoso as cameraman. President Muhammad Nawaz Umrani, special guests Muhammad Ashiq Abaro, Gulshir Leghari, Barkat Ali Abro, Khudabakhsh Kalhoro, Fida Chandio, Ghulam Abbas Umrani, JournalistAbdul Hameed Sheikh, Kamran Ali Dythu, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Press Club Vice President among journalists. 1 Sahil Lund, Vice President – 2 Abdul Khaliq Jagirani, Information Secretary Mashooq Ali Khoso, Joint Secretary Mukhtiar Ali Lashari and Abdul Majeed Odhani garlanded the newly arrived officials. He asked to speed up and to raise his voice for the rights of the oppressed people to get the rights of the journalists. Senior Vice President Irshad Ibrahim Sheikh said that I have always supported the oppressed. Being in this press club, I will always play the role of independent journalism and I will be active in expanding the press club. On this occasion, Fida Hussain Chandio addressed the journalist friends and said, “Thank you to the friends of the press club for allowing me to join this program.” I agreed and he further said that my friend Irshad Ibrahim Shaikh is a hardworking journalist. At the end of the ceremony, a prayer was asked for good and blessings.
