Implementation on PM Health Insurance Scheme for media persons starts in Balochistan

QUETTA: The implementation has been started on the Prime Minister Health Insurance Scheme for the working journalists and other media persons in Balochistan.
Three media persons belonging to Hub district and associated with TV channel were given their PM Health Insurance Cards from the State Life Insurance after their verification by the office of Information Department, on directives of Secretary Information Balochistan, Imran Afridi and Director General of Public Relations, Muhammad Noor Khetran.
The Assistant Director, Abdul Wahid Baloch visited the Hub Press Club. He also discussed the issue of grant of the Press Club as was announced by the Spokesman of President Asif Ali Zardari for Balochistan and Advisor to Chief Minister, Mir Ali Hasan Zehri.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Director Public Relations assured the office bearers that the measures would remain continued for welfare of the media persons as per the policy of government.
The President of Hub Press Club, Muhammad Ilyas Kamboh and other office bearers thanked Secretary Information and DGPR for initiating PM Health Insurance Scheme from Hub.
It may be mentioned here that the media workers would be able to avail the facility of medical treatment upto Rs. 1 million.
