QUETTA: The Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh has stated that foolproof security of all routes in the province is included in top priority and as such no negligence and irresponsibility would be tolerated in this regard.
The Inspector General of police was speaking during the visit of spot of assassination of nine labourers in Noshki on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Deputy Inspector General Rakhshan Range, Wazir Khan Nasar, DIG CTD, Aitezaz Ahmed Goraya, AIG Operations, Muhammad Baloch, DPO Noshki, Allah Bakhsh and other high ups were also present.
The DIG Wazir Khan Nasar briefed the IGP about the incident of killing of labourers in Noshki.
He informed that the police is investigating the incident from different aspects.
He also asserted that protection of the masses is also our priority. He directed the police personnel to remain high alert on entry and exit routes and ensure checking there.
He asserted that the dacoites, miscreants and terrorist elements would be routed out.
It may be mentioned here that nine labourers were shot dead by unknown armed assailants while they were on their way to Taftan from Quetta riding in a passenger coach last week.
