IGP lays foundation stone of School of Investigation & Police Firing Range in PTC

QUETTA: The Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh laid foundation stone of the School of Investigation and Firing Range in the Police Training College (PTC) here on Friday.
Present on the occasion were the Additional IGP Jawad Ahmed Dogar, Commandant PTC Quetta, Muhammad Ishfaq Alam, Deputy Commandant , Aurangzeb, Chief Law Instructor, Rehmatullah Bangulzai and AIGP Development.
The IGP was briefed about importance and utilization of the School of Investigation and other related matters.
Speaking on the occasion, IGP said that it is very important to make operational and investigation responsibilities extraordinary under the police department.
Rather it is requirement of the time to cope with the new techniques of the crimes, he maintained.
He also announced to set up similar schools in other police training centers of the province.
