The Hub River Bridge, a vital link between Sindh and Balochistan, is nearing completion. Following the Balochistan High Court’s orders, Commissioner Quetta Division Muhammad Naeem Bazai and National Highway Authority (NHA) Project Director Hub River Bridge Parakash are overseeing the final stages of construction ¹. The bridge’s black topping process has begun, and NLC’s Colonel Rafee is monitoring the project’s progress. The federal government approved the reconstruction of the bridge, damaged in the 2022 floods, at a cost of Rs. 1198 million.
The National Highway Authority (NHA) has assured the Balochistan High Court that the Hub River Bridge will be completed this month and opened to traffic. The court was informed that the bridge’s construction is in its final stages, with only the shoulder’s construction remaining ¹. NHA officials confirmed that funds are available for the project, and the remaining work will be completed soon. The court directed NHA to complete the project without delays.
