Hindu Community Calls for Shutdown in Kashmore Against Kidnappings

Mir Ali Akbar Bangwar. Kashmore. Nov. 07.
A complete shutdown is being observed in Kashmore today to protest against the increasing number of kidnappings for ransom in the area. The shutdown, called by the Hindu community, comes after the recent kidnapping of a Hindu trader, Raj Kumar, from a rice mill ¹.

CCTV footage of the incident has emerged, showing four unidentified armed men abducting Kumar at gunpoint. The community is demanding the safe recovery of Kumar and action against the perpetrators.

As a result of the shutdown, general stores, medical stores, and other shops selling essential items remain closed, causing difficulties for citizens and business owners. The police have failed to provide security and protection to the citizens, who live in fear of being kidnapped and held for ransom.

*Demands of the Hindu Community:*

– _Safe Recovery of Raj Kumar_: The community demands the immediate and safe recovery of the kidnapped trader.
– _Action Against Perpetrators_: The community wants the authorities to take action against those responsible for the kidnappings.
– _Improved Security_: The community demands improved security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

The shutdown is a sign of the growing frustration and fear among the Hindu community in Kashmore, who feel that the authorities have failed to protect them.
